Greatwood Homes under Kim Tucker's leadership was an excellent choice for building our home. The home was a spec home which had been framed and roofed prior to us putting a contract on the house. We meet with Kim and her associate Neal and they got the ball rolling, making changes that we wanted for our home.Kim is a true custom home builder and not semi-custom. She allowed us to pick our brick, stone, light fixtures, tile, colors, and flooring.She gave us a budget for each item in the home, and it was very reasonable. They went above and beyond to do the herringbone brick pattern on our home. It was a great experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

After my wife and I decided to move back to our hometown of Midlothian, we started to look at numerous home builders. We knew immediately after meeting with Kim Tucker that Greatwood Custom Homes was the perfect choice to build our home. We heard numerous horror stories in relation to building a home, however, Greatwood made the process very enjoyable. The process allowed us to build a custom floor plan, elevation and even select smallest of details within the finish out.
With our work and travel schedule, it was not always easy for us to meet, but Kim and Blake were always accommodating and willing to work around our schedule. We appreciated having the ability to contact Kim or Blake with a text, phone call or email. They were always very quick to respond and address any concerns that we had. Even with the numerous changes we had during the build at our request, I was never apprehensive that it would not be finished exactly how we wanted.
